Pap smears without the runaround
One price, $100, covering the visit and the laboratory. No separate bill arriving weeks later from a lab you never chose. We explain what the result means when it comes back, in your language, and tell you exactly what happens next if anything needs follow-up.
Birth control
We discuss the options honestly — pills, the Depo-Provera injection at $70, and removal of an existing IUD at $50 or Nexplanon at $150 — and help you choose based on your life rather than what is quickest to prescribe.
A female provider who speaks Spanish
For many patients this is the reason they come here rather than somewhere else. Doris Perez, APRN is a woman and a native Spanish speaker, so there is no male provider and no interpreter in the room for a conversation that is already private enough.
Common questions
How much is a Pap smear?
$100, which includes both the office visit and the laboratory fee. There is no second bill.
How often do I need a Pap smear?
For most women every three years from age 21, or every five years from 30 when combined with HPV testing. Your history may change that, and we will tell you what applies to you.
Is the provider a woman?
Yes. Doris Perez, APRN is a female provider, and she speaks Spanish and English.
Do you remove IUDs and Nexplanon?
Yes. IUD removal is $50 and Nexplanon removal is $150.
I drive across the United States and if I have to go to the doctor, I try to go to Dr Perez. She really knows what she is doing. Her staff is awesome.
