What works well virtually
Colds and coughs, sinus problems, urinary symptoms, rashes you can show on camera, medication refills and adjustments, blood pressure and diabetes follow-up, lab result reviews, and mental health check-ins all work well by phone or video.
What needs an in-person visit
Anything that needs to be touched, listened to, swabbed or stitched. Ear infections, strep testing, injuries, abdominal pain, and any physical exam for a DOT or sports form all need you in the clinic. If we start virtually and find you need to come in, we will tell you rather than guess.
How to join
Book your visit and you will get a link. No app to install and no account to create — the video opens in your phone or computer browser. If video is not working for you, we simply call you instead.
Common questions
How much is a telehealth visit?
$59 without insurance. With insurance we bill your plan the same way as an office visit.
Can you prescribe medication over telehealth?
Yes, for most conditions. Prescriptions go directly to the pharmacy you choose. Some controlled medications legally require an in-person visit.
Do I need to download an app?
No. You get a link that opens in your browser. If video does not work, we call you on the phone instead.
Is telehealth available in Spanish?
Yes. Doris Perez, APRN conducts virtual visits in Spanish and English.
I drive across the United States and if I have to go to the doctor, I try to go to Dr Perez. She really knows what she is doing. Her staff is awesome.
